How do YOU define ahlians.
Some people think they are what makes singapore special.
Or quoting a person ART.
I think people who are Ah Lians , are either
OVER CONFIDENT PEOPLE , that think they are super cool or some other crap.
or
SUPER LOW SELF ESTEEM , till they have to copy these people they think look cool.
About the twitting , maybe they think its cute?
Or some other reason.But i guess its their opinion.
I dont think piercings define an ah lian , cause some people have piercings and are not ah lians.
Like some famous blogger : ohsofickle.
I guess.Its up to you to decide.

Well, that's somehow the style that they portray, then image that they want everyone to have on them. I agree that skinnies should not be worn like that, but after seeing all the other overseas star wear them, you'll think that it's a kind of fashion. Not really how they wear, but it's just them. (:

I hate it that people stereotype people who wear pink skinnies or put heavy make up or have damn long fringe or dye their hair (there are a lot of conditions) as ah lian =_=
I mean they are all the superficial, you can't just judge them as ah lian just because of their appearance and stuffs.
Same thing for stereotyping guys who wear skinnies as being gay =_=

Ah Lians, as I perceive them to be, are those who talk in those really stupid tones (like they're mentally challenged or something) and look/act like gangsters.
Aiyah, there are many definitions of Ah Lians cause everyone defines it differently.

I would classify those twits as Xiao Mei Mei rather, have yet to grow up.
The first quality of an Ah Lian/Ah Beng is that they don't have love for themselves, by that I don't mean they love themselves a lot by cam-whoring and stuff.
What I mean by that is that, they've already gone astray, defying what is good for them and continuing to "destroy" themselves.

lol Wikipedia is openly modifiable encyclopedia, anyone can exploit it. The Ah Lian article is the best example anyway =_=
This article or section may contain original research or unverified claims.
This article is so garbled, it makes no sense at all. I seriously doubt the neutrality of it. i also think it should be more formal and up to the standards of an encyclopaedia article.

never wear skinnies with converse shoes. esp low cut ones. high cut, not so bad yet.
but most of the time i see people who wear skinnies so tight that it can't even go down to the ankles. and then they wear low cut converses.
