we have so many school rules i can go on forever..
1. no wearing of pedal
2. no wearing of make-up even putting eyeliner
3. no skirts, shorts, flip-flops
4. no hanging blouse or shirts
5. no wearing of colored bracelets (i see no point for them to ban us wearing braceletes that is colored)
6. no wearing of hanging earings
7. wear only 1 pair of earing
8. no public display of affection
9. no colored hair
(and many more~)
taken from where i posted in the sock level thingy 
heres a catch:
our level coordinator SUCKS *he is the one catching people with colored hair, long nails and so on...
he gave me a violation report cause i didnt attend the ceremony and he even write in the blanks that i go into "off limits" areas when i did even go there... i was just in the womens washroom and HE even go into the washroom and SHOUT at us !
HE DOESNT HAVE ANY RESPECT AT ALL!! GOING INTO WOMEN'S WASHROOM and my other friend is in the cubicle doing her thing and HE shout to get out from there...
STUPID HIM!

I like to wear thigh high Japanese inspired socks to school as much as I like to wear the suffocating pinafore.
Ok sometimes schools really go overboard with the rules.
We aren't supposed to wear shorts underneath(that's what we're told on the first day o school) but can they actually check?Like so absurd.
And no dirty shoes.Hello?Walk to school everyday and see if your oh so pristine shoes are clean or not.
And I don't wear the school socks cause I don't like my ankles being labeled.
I probably sound like someone who get into alot of trouble but I'm just a non existent no name face haha

first, i wear short skirt to school (:
secondly, i don't wear earings, i wear 2 pairs of ear studds
thirdly, i put face powder to school, and no one notice it. (:
fourthly, i had dye my hair, but teachers though it's natural =D
last but not least, we're allowed to wear ankle socks!!

Sigh. I think certain schools get it easier. I'm in a mission school, so rules are pretty strict.
And no shorts underneath your skirt????!?!?! Can they even check??
If I didn't wear shorts underneath, I'd feel naked. :[

then, what the ear-sticks created for? stupid dm.
and ear-sticks also not fancy or wadevadaeva, just simply plain.
haix, dont know why our singapore typical's students'life were so miserable?

I think it's ridiculous not to allow shorts under skirt. Whoever that set that rule must be desperate for pantsu shots.
Dirty shoes thing, some schools get pretty damn crazy about it. Especially when it's like the monsoon season.
As for the 9 rules stated in the first post I don't think it's really that bad.

Lol, during my sec sch life, teachers actually allow this, they say they were once young b4. If they ban this kind of thing, it will seem unreasonable.. but then they mock at the couples everyday..they nt tired, we tired lah..

My school doesn't allow slippers, spagetti (sry, donnoe how to spell) straps /too revealing shirts,
coloured hair, long hair for guys, mini shorts/skirts, caps (unless for safety reason)...I think thats all..All these rules, I dont really mind..
Anyway, I wear slippers everyday, but my jeans covered my heels..so unnoticeable.
Oya, can don't go for lectures, but must tap the school admin card..
poly life is like that~

=_= Anyway I think lots of school rules are just stupid and absurd.
Personally, I think that students SHOULD do whatever teachers are able to do, in terms of improving their appearances.
If teachers can color their hair, perm their hair, put make-up etc etc, I don't see any reason for students not being able to do the same things.
Teachers were supposed to be exemplars for students, right? LOL
But now, you see lots of teachers with colored hair, SO WE CAN HAVE COLORED HAIR OKAYY!!!

LOL personally i don't think colouring your hair's that unreasonable, as long as it's not some vivid colour like hotpink, blue, lime etc. -_- but putting make-up's such a hassle, esp when you gotta wake up early enough, idk why people still bother actually :/
