ok i am tired of seeing threads asking very commonly asked questions.
so let's end it all.
i shall compile everything (well almost) here.
here goes :
1. How do I install my blogskin on to my blog? It just gives me some could not be parsed, XML error."
ok, to solve this,
look down from the huge input box where you tried putting your code into.
and click onto the "Revert to Classic Template" link very close to it.
hope this solves it.
2. How do i download blogskins?
On the page of the skin, click the button of your choice (for whatever you use)
either,
"blogger main"
"xanga"
or
"movable type"
after awhile, your download should be completed, edit the code by putting in your profile things or what-nots,
and there you have it,
a nice blogskin for your blog!
3. How do i style my blogskins profile page?
Well, this one requires minimal knowledge.

view each and everyone of those links.
and don't forget to NOT leave a line between each line for your css code.
paste this code into your "about me" section
more experienced people with css, and some html
just view source,
figure out all the components with the class=WHATEVER CLASS tags in the [div] tags
and then view here for the default attributes for the various parts of your profile page.
NOTE : figure out which of the tags declarations are actually for your profile page.
or you might mess something up.
4. How do i have the comments section in my blog?
if your blogskins does not have the comments part added for your blog,
add the following code,
to enable comments.
[BlogItemCommentsEnabled]
[a href="[$BlogItemCommentCreate$]"
[$BlogItemCommentFormOnClick$]]
[$BlogItemCommentCount$] comments[/a]
[/BlogItemCommentsEnabled]
replace the "[" or "]" brackets with the angled brackets.
you may want to add this just before the [/blogger]
part of your blogskins code, to allow comments after every post.
Where can i get nice fonts / brushes /pictures ?
well, there are many sources.

5. How do i make i screenshot?
Ok, two methods for different computers.
first mtd :
ctrl + prt sc
second mtd :
fn + prt sc
after doing that, open paint or some photo editting software and paste it in.
then save it.
and upload it 
any other mtds, please tell me

hello this is not really a commonly asked question, BUT
how do you use image map (mine's GIMP)
i've tried examining the codes of people who have used image map, but it still doesn't work for me.
any idea why? (:

eh well i think it is to be a good blogger is to know how to edit his or her own blog,know to respect and not to rip others blog,well...

Hello again,
i have a question which makes me confuse.
How do you create a skin thats is FF or IE version.
Is there a code for a blogskin that is only for FF and one only for IE.
Sorry if its confusing .

If you create that skin according to IE alignment , it is considered best viewed in IE.
the same for FF , if created in FF according to FF alignment considered best viewed in FF.

in your post there is an 'inverted commas sign' ( " )
Highlight the text and click on that sign,
Or you can just write
[blockquote]
1dayigo2ahousetopeep.

change [ to sharp ones.

ok I have downloaded many blog skins, but I have a mac and when I open the txt file it just shows the picture not the html code... does anyone know a way around this?

never mind I found the way to do it, for anyone else interested when you are in the text edit program you select file, open, then when the box pops up check the box that says ignore rich text something or another, then open the file. someone correct me if I am wrong!

to your second question, if you're using a QWERTY keyboard,
it should be right next to the CTRL button.
dont know what a QWERTY keyboard is?

u know when u go to someone's blog and sometimes there'll be a popup asking you for the password, i think somebody asked for the codes for that popup thing and so i've got it here!

the word "secret" you replace with the password you want.
the words "Enter the password," you write whatever you want like, "Password please!" or "what's the secret passcode to enter?" or something like that :-/
the url "http://www.yahoo.com" you replace with any link you want in the background while people are being prompted for the password to your blog.
dont understand? too bad i got no other way to explain it.

Erm, I know i am asking such ridiculous questions again and again, but does anyone knows the code for Labels? You know when you post on blogger.com then there's the "Label" section at the bottom of the posting box there...? It's okay if no ones knows, I'm not that desperate

Ver useful but might be confusing a little for a person who does not know anything.
