You could bring the most well-designed web application to its knees... and this is not a well-designed web application.

I've been struggling all morning to optimize, cache, and re-write the heck out of everything, and for each iota of extra performance I'm able to create -- you take it and run with it.

But don't worry. I'm not going to give up. You may have won today's battle against me, but you have not won the war. I can do this, I have the technology. What I don't have is the time today.
